When I was younger, my sister Anna and I used to record our own pretend radio shows on an old cassette recorder. I remember how much fun it was. Well, I’m going to do the grownup version of that exact thing by starting a podcast!
Update: I podfaded fast! Considering coming back around to this again in the future.
I think the audio format will be good for me, to be honest. It’s probably easier for me to get my thoughts out in that way. But I’m getting ahead of myself. You decide after listening to a few episodes, okay?
And I’m starting this all wrong. If I was on the ball, I’d build up a bunch of episodes early on and have some slick interviews ready to wow you with out of the gate. But I know myself and I know that if I try to do it that way, I just won’t ever get it done. So I’ve decided to take a different track here — I’m going to learn in public while starting this thing.
The Concept
I’m calling the podcast the “Evangelism Lab.”
What is a laboratory?
- It’s a place to experiment.
- It’s a place to hypothesize.
- Break stuff.
- See what works.
- Fail.
- Try something new.
- Learn from each other.
- Be open minded about new ideas.
- Test new ways of doing things.
That’s the plan.

(It’s brand new so some podcast directories haven’t indexed the show yet. If it’s not showing up on your favorite podcast platform, let me know and I’ll look into it.)
