I’ve been enjoying this collection of stories of people who have found faith in Christ, put together by Redeemer church in NYC.
They call it the New Birth Portrait Series.

Becoming a Christian in some ways is like taking that step off of the curb and crossing the street. In New York, you are never 100% sure that no car is going to come and hit you, but you basically look both ways, you listen, and you decide, ‘Okay the street is clear and I can cross.’
But I do think that with a little piece of evidence—reading and exploring this—you can get 50%, you can get 60%, and so basically you start to cross the street. Really what fills in the rest of that is meeting Jesus personally.
That’s how you get to the other side.
